ADELINE – Slim Teardrop Hat Block

This is a beautiful teardrop shaped pillbox hat block. The teardrop hat block is beautifully curved to hug the head. The block comes with a hollowed bottom for ease of pinning. This hat block is slimmer than our MIRJAM hat block, see picture with both block side by side.

Description

You can choose the preferred size for this teardrop hat block:

– large – the block measures about 20cm (7.9″) long, it is about 17cm (6.7″) wide from one side to the other (at the widest part). This hat block can be seen in the pictures.

– small – the block measures about 17cm (6.7″) long, it is about 14cm (5.5″) wide from one side to the other (at the widest part).

All of our hat blocks are covered with 2-3 layers of varnish for protection.

The pictures show a sample item. Each item is hand made in the needed size, but there can be some variation in the natural colour and grain of the wood.

MATERIALS

This hat block is made from lime. This is a local tree that is widely spread in Northern Europe. It is a soft material and easy to pin.

Shipping & Delivery

HANDLING TIME

All of our hat blocks are made to order. Currently our production time is 3 weeks. During the busy season (December - January) the production time can be up to 4 weeks.

Once you place the order we will contact you and inform about the turnaround time.

SHIPPING COSTS

Delivery costs for smaller size hat blocks (pillbox hat blocks) start at 15EUR - Europe, 20 EUR - USA, UK, Canada. Please understand that it is not possible for the web site to accurately calculate combined shipping costs for multiple items. We always manually re-calculate the shipping costs and issue a refund.

You can also contact us prior to purchase, we will manually calculate the shipping costs and inform you about the turnaround time as well as delivery methods and shipping costs.

IMPORT CHARGES

For customers outside the EU there may be additional import charges per your government. We make every effort to minimize this process by declaring the contents of each package. If in case there are extra charges you will be notified at the point of pick up. Any import charges is the responsibility of the customer.

BUSINESS CUSTOMERS

If you are based in the EU and would like to place an order as a business (and have a valid VAT code), please contact us prior to placing the order.

REGULAR MAIL

We ship our orders with Latvijas Pasts, e.g. Latvian national post. Most of the fascinator and pillbox hat blocks are shipped with REGULAR MAIL.

4-10 business days around Europe;
2-3 weeks to USA, Canada;
3-6 weeks other countries.

We will provide a tracking number. You can track the parcel on Track-trace.com/post or later when the parcel has reached your country also on the website of your national mail carrier (usps.com, Royalmail.com etc.)

EXPRESS DELIVERY

Heavier hat blocks and hat block sets are shipped via expedited delivery service (DHL, DPD or FedeEx), delivery time:

3-10 business days in Europe,
5-10 business days USA,
6-10 business days Canada
5-15 days other countries.

If you have chosen smaller, lightweight items and would like us to upgrade expedited delivery, please contact us using – include links to the hat blocks that you would like to purchase as well as your address. We will then calculate the costs for express shipping.
