This is a classic open crown hat block based on the popular style 52. You can use this hat block to create different styles of hats. The crown block has an oval outline (regular oval) and is slightly tapered.
The crown block in the pictures is size 57cm and 15cm tall.
The crown block can be combined with our other brim blocks with an oval outline. Just leave us a note at checkout with the design of the brim block you have and we will add the necessary screws. You will need different type of screws than for our wood hat blocks.

Due to the specifics of the production process 3D printed hat blocks will have a slightly textured surface. The texture is so delicate that it will not influence how the blocked material of the hat will look.

Wooden hat blocks will have a longer lifespan and have other outstanding qualities but PLA hat blocks is a great alternative if you are just starting out in hat making and need cost effective options or are an experienced hat maker but need a hat block design or size that you will not require that often and want to keep the expenses low.
