Open Crown Block CB01 with Hat Making Tools

This set consists of  a lovely open crown hat block (CB01) and a set of hat making tools (brim cutter/ rounding jack, puller downer, pusher downer, foot tolliker) that you can use to create different styles of hats. The oval crown block can be used with other brim blocks to create a variety of hats (cloche, bowlers, sun hat etc.).

The crown block has an oval outline (regular oval). You can use this crown block for many different hat designs:
– caps (see last picture)
– fedoras – firstly you will have to block the material as usual and then manually create the dents typical to fedoras
– cloche hats, bowlers, floppy brim sun hats etc. – just use any kind of brim block that works with oval crown blocks.

NOTE: the hats seen in the pictures are not included in the listing. The brim blocks seen is the picture are not included, it can be purchased separately in our brim block section.
