For our full size hat blocks like cloche hats, crown blocks or hat block sets we offer sizes 21"-23.5".
Originally all crown blocks are made with 22.5" (57cm) circumference. This is the most widely used size of hat blocks and usually fits most customers. If you would prefer a different size hat block please leave a note at checkout. For hat blocks 23" and up additional charges may apply.
We create also smaller children's size as well as large size hat blocks. Please contact us if you would like to order such a hat block.

HANDLING TIME
All of our hat blocks are made to order. Currently our production time is 4 weeks.
Once you place the order we will contact you and inform about the turnaround time.
SHIPPING COSTS
Delivery costs for smaller size hat blocks (pillbox hat blocks) start at 15EUR - Europe, 20 EUR - UK, Canada.
Please understand that it is not possible for the web site to accurately calculate combined shipping costs for multiple items. We always manually re-calculate the shipping costs and issue a refund.
You can also contact us prior to purchase, we will manually calculate the shipping costs and inform you about the turnaround time as well as delivery methods and shipping costs.
IMPORT CHARGES
For customers outside the EU there may be additional import charges per your government. We make every effort to minimize this process by declaring the contents of each package. If in case there are extra charges you will be notified at the point of pick up. Any import charges is the responsibility of the customer.
UK customers - please keep in mind that for orders over 135GBP you will have to pay customs duties. The customs duties will be around 25% of the value of the shipment (cost of goods + shipping costs) + the delivery company may charge a fee for handling the customs procedures.
US customers - due to customs regulations, shipments to the USA require DDP (Delivery Duties Paid) service via FedEx. Please contact us so we can provide a personalized delivery quote (DDP – Delivery Duties Paid).
REGULAR MAIL
We ship our orders with Latvijas Pasts, e.g. Latvian national post. Most of the fascinator and pillbox hat blocks are shipped with REGULAR MAIL.
- 4-10 business days around Europe;
- 10-17 business days to USA, Canada;
- 3-6 weeks other countries.
We will provide a tracking number. You can track the parcel on Track-trace.com/post or later when the parcel has reached your country also on the website of your national mail carrier (usps.com, Royalmail.com etc.)
EXPRESS DELIVERY
Heavier hat blocks and hat block sets are shipped via expedited delivery service (DHL, DPD or FedeEx), delivery time:
- 3-10 business days in Europe,
- 5-10 business days USA,
- 6-10 business days Canada
- 5-15 days other countries.
If you have chosen smaller, lightweight items and would like us to upgrade expedited delivery, please contact us using – include links to the hat blocks that you would like to purchase as well as your address. We will then calculate the costs for express shipping.
BUSINESS CUSTOMERS
If you are based in the EU and would like to place an order as a business (and have a valid VAT code), please contact us prior to placing the order.

Product Care and Safety Information
General Warnings
- Keep out of reach of children and pets. Small parts may present a choking hazard.
- Store away from direct heat sources and open flames. Prolonged exposure to heat can damage both wooden and PLA plastic tools.
- Handle with care—wooden hat blocks and PLA tools are precision-crafted and should be treated gently to maintain their shape and durability.
- Avoid excessive force, dropping, or impacts, as these may cause cracks, dents, or warping.
Usage Guidelines
- Always use hat blocks on a stable, non-slip surface to prevent accidental falls or damage.
- Always cover wooden hat blocks with cling film or a plastic bag to protect from water, stiffener and other substances, as this can cause swelling, warping, or cracking.
- PLA plastic tools should not be exposed to temperatures above 60°C (140°F), as they may soften or deform.
- For 3D-printed PLA tools, avoid direct contact with high heat or solvents, which may weaken the structure.
- Use gentle pressure when pinning materials to wooden hat blocks to avoid unnecessary surface damage. Be specially careful when working with thinner hat blocks like our headband hat blocks.
- Use thin blocking pins (not the thick pins meant for cork bulletins boards). Thick blocking pins will leave larger holes.
- The smaller the hat block the shorter will it’s lifespan be, especially when using inappropriate, e.g. too thick pins that leave big holes.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning Wooden Hat Blocks: Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Avoid using harsh cleaners or soaking in water.
- Cleaning PLA Plastic Tools: Wipe with a dry or damp cloth as needed. Avoid scrubbing with abrasive materials or using alcohol-based cleaners.
- Follow the instructions when replacing the blades of the brim cutting tool.
- Storage: Keep both wooden and PLA tools in a dry, cool environment, away from direct sunlight and humidity.
- Protection: When not in use, store wooden blocks and tools away from direct sunlight. Wood is a natural material and will change its colour with time.
By following these guidelines, you’ll ensure the longevity and reliability of your handcrafted wooden hat blocks and 3D-printed tools, allowing you to create beautiful hats for years to come.
